Bắc Sơn uprising

As French troops fled the Japanese through Bắc Sơn, the local communist cell led villagers to disarm them, take the Mỏ Nhài post and set up a revolutionary government. Once France and Japan came to terms, the French retook the posts and crushed the rising.
