Terms of Service

Using timeastra means you accept the terms below. They are few, and meant to keep things fair for everyone.

  1. What timeastra is

timeastra is an atlas of the world’s past, made to be wandered through: realms rising and falling, battles fought again phase by phase, events set in their place and year. It is made for curiosity and learning.

It is not a guide for travel or navigation, nor a reference for legal, academic or professional work.

  2. Accuracy and its limits

The past is rarely tidy, and drawing it on a map tidies it further. Borders are simplified, many dates are approximate, and much of the text comes from Wikipedia and Wikidata, which anyone may edit. We take care, but errors and gaps remain.

Everything here is offered as it is. Before you rely on it for anything that matters, check it against a source you trust.

  3. Your own judgement

timeastra is a free, non-commercial project, not a professional service. We accept no liability for any loss, damage or trouble that comes from using the site or from relying on what it shows.

How you use what you find here is up to you.

  4. Links to other sites

Many pages lead elsewhere: to Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Cliopatria and other sources. Those sites are not ours. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they publish or how they treat you; their own terms and policies apply.
