Learning that Zhu Yuanzhang had founded the Ming at Nanjing, Trần Dụ Tông sent Đồng Thì Mẫn, Đoàn Đễ and Lê An Thế with tribute; the Ming sent officials to invest him as King of Annam, but they reached the border after his death.
