Meluhha sea trade

Ships from Meluhha, the Indus valley, sailed along the Makran coast and into the Gulf, calling at Magan and Dilmun on the way to Sumer. Carnelian beads, ivory, timber and shell went west; copper came from Magan. Sargon of Akkad boasted of these ships tied up at his quay.
