Angered by Khúc Thừa Mỹ's ties with the Liang, the Southern Han emperor sent Li Shoufu and Liang Kezhen into Jinghai; they captured Khúc Thừa Mỹ and took him to Guangzhou, ending the Khúc family's rule.
