Liang sent Yang Biao and Chen Baxian to retake Jiaozhou; they drove Lý Nam Đế into the hills, but Triệu Quang Phục held out in the Dạ Trạch marsh and, when Chen Baxian was recalled in 550, routed the Liang army.
